Terms and Conditions

By purchasing any item from this website or commissioning a portrait, you (the buyer) agree to all of the terms outlined below.
No reproduction of any images or materials on this website, or of commissioned artwork, is permitted without written consent from Charlie Robbins. If you wish to use any image, please contact the artist for permission.

Reference photos

Each portrait is created using coloured pencils and based on a reference photograph supplied by the client.
The artist reserves the right to decline a commission if the provided photograph is not of sufficient quality. In such cases, any deposit already paid will be refunded in full.

If the client does not own the reference photograph, they must obtain permission from the owner before submission.
If the photograph was taken by a professional photographer, written consent must be obtained from that photographer.

Data Protection

The artist will collect the following client information:

• Name

• Email address

• Postal address

This information will be used solely for invoicing and delivery purposes.
Client names are retained only to track orders. Once the product has been delivered, all email and address records will be deleted. Any saved or printed reference photographs will also be deleted or destroyed.

Payment

Bank transfer details will be provided when payment is required. For overseas orders, there is the option to pay via bank transfer or via PayPal.

• A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking. This deposit is non-refundable.

• The remaining balance must be paid in full before the artwork is posted.

• If the client is dissatisfied with the finished piece and the issue cannot be resolved through minor adjustments, the remaining balance will not be due; however, the client will not receive the artwork.

Monthly payment plans:
Clients wishing to pay in installments will receive an invoice for an agreed amount on an agreed date each month. Once work has begun, all payments made are non-refundable. The portrait will be dispatched only after full payment has been received.

Delivery and Postage

All portraits are securely packaged in a cellobag and tissue, then protected with bubble wrap and boxed or wrapped in durable packing paper.
Orders are sent via 1st Class Tracked Delivery.

Returns and Damage in Transit

All portraits are packaged with great care. In the unlikely event of damage during transit, please photograph both the packaging and the artwork immediately and contact Charlie Robbins.

The portrait must be returned in its original packaging at the client’s expense. Once received, an identical replacement will be created at no additional cost. Replacement work will be completed as soon as possible within the artist’s schedule.

Copyright

The artist retains full copyright of all works created.
Charlie Robbins reserves the right to use images of completed artwork for portfolios, this website, and social media platforms.
The client may not reproduce, sell, or distribute copies of the artwork in any form without written permission from the artist.
